About the position

As a Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our restaurant. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other kitchen equipment, as well as emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas. In addition to these tasks, you will support the Cooks with prep work, including the preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and assist with other tasks as needed. Your focus will always be on the team and our guests, making decisions that prioritize their experience and satisfaction. Following all cleanliness and safety protocols is essential to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. This position requires a commitment to teamwork and a strong attention to detail. You will be expected to work as part of a cohesive kitchen team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. The role may involve standing for extended periods, and you will need to be able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely. Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
  • Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • Supporting the Cooks with prep work and preparation of signature Cheddar Bay biscuits
  • Focusing on team and guest satisfaction
  • Following all cleanliness and safety protocols

Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
