About the position

The Dishwasher position at OCI Hospitality involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. The role is essential for supporting the kitchen staff and ensuring that all dining and cooking areas are stocked and organized, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Washes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers
• Places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
• Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils
• Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam
• Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area
• Assists in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving as needed
• Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation
• Cleans hood vents, fryer, and grease trap
• Cleans dish tank, stainless steel, and drains and ensures correct wash and rinse temperatures
• Ensures hand soap and hand towel stations are replenished
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
