About the position
The Dishwasher position is responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and service ware to ensure that cooks, buss persons, and food servers have the necessary equipment for a positive dining experience. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and employee cafeteria areas.
Responsibilities
- Sort soiled service ware for proper cleaning in dish or pot machines.
- Keep dish machines clean and filled with water according to hotel standards.
- Remove trash and boxes from the kitchen area.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area and employee cafeteria as outlined by the Chef.
- Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly to support cooks.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
