About the position
The Dishwasher/Utility position at Red Lobster involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the restaurant, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of the kitchen and contributes to the overall guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
- Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils
- Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
- Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
- Supporting the Cooks with prep work and preparation of signature dishes
- Focusing on team and guest satisfaction by making decisions with their needs in mind
- Following all cleanliness and safety protocols
Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country
- Culinary experience preferred
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
- Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
