About the position
The Hub Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen of The Grove Community Church's Hub Ministry. This part-time position involves dishwashing and supporting food and drink service areas to ensure a welcoming environment for church guests.
Responsibilities
- Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Places clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in proper storage areas.
- Maintains a safe and clean workplace.
- Sweeps, mops, and scrubs floors in all kitchen areas.
- Sorts and removes trash within all trash receptacles in the Hub area.
- Follows opening and closing procedures.
- Assists with event set-up and service when needed.
- Reports any equipment issues to Lead Dishwasher.
Requirements
- Riverside County Food Handlers Permit (may test for after position acquired).
- Agreement with The Grove's Statement of Faith and Foundational Beliefs.
Benefits
- Base pay of $16.00 per hour.
