About the position
The Dishwasher position at Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders involves working as part of a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. The dishwasher will also assist with restocking items and supporting other staff members as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, including pots and pans.
- Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as mixers and pots.
- Unloading and storing deliveries.
- Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event of spills or broken items.
- Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
- Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with various tasks as needed.
- Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
Requirements
- No experience needed.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
- Available to work shifts, on public holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat or walk for 5-10 hours a day and lift at least 50 pounds.
