About the position

As a Dishwasher at StoryPoint, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment, ensuring that all items are sanitized and ready for use. This position requires adherence to proper cleaning procedures and compliance with all applicable state and local health and safety codes. You will also be responsible for stocking soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen, as well as performing daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. In addition to washing dishes, you may be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas. It is essential to maintain a positive attitude and support a team environment, collaborating effectively with other Dishwashers and the culinary team. Promoting positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests is also a key aspect of this role. The work environment is dynamic, and you will be expected to communicate effectively with others while performing your duties. This position entails standing for long periods, and you will need to be physically capable of lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds occasionally. The noise level in the work environment is moderate, and appropriate interaction with others is required. Responsibilities

• Wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment.

Requirements

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly and display a positive attitude.
• Good teamwork skills are essential.
• Effective communication skills are required.
