About the position

The Dishwasher position at Ellis Park Racing & Gaming is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen areas. This role involves washing dishes and kitchen utensils, assisting with the unloading and storage of food products, and ensuring a clean and efficient working environment. Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and all other items related to the restaurant operation.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by mopping, cleaning racks and shelves, changing floor mats, and disposing of trash and cardboard.
• Assist with unloading incoming dry, refrigerated, and frozen products and storing them in the appropriate areas to ensure product freshness.
• Transport dry, refrigerated and frozen products to the kitchen as necessary to replenish supplies.

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant work experience in a restaurant or food capacity.
• Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Nice-to-haves

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two or more years' experience in high volume food service operation/preparation.
