About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, thereby supporting our culinary staff and contributing to the overall success of our hospitality services.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet events or catering services when required.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus.
