About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized to support our food service operations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning techniques.
• Operate dishwashing machines effectively while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, walls, sinks, and workstations.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
• Help with bussing tables during peak service times to ensure efficient turnover.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
