The Dishwasher position at Century Park Associates is a part-time role designed to support the dining services for residents. This position is ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours, particularly after school, as it operates from 3:45 PM to 6:45 PM. The primary responsibility of the Dishwasher is to perform dishwashing and various cleaning duties to ensure that the dining needs of residents are met in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. The Dishwasher will report directly to the Dining Services Director and is expected to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. In this role, the Dishwasher will be responsible for loading and unloading the dishwasher, hand washing pots, pans, utensils, and other items that cannot be cleaned in the commercial dishwashing machine. Daily cleaning tasks will include maintaining the walk-in refrigerator, stock room, ovens, sinks, and floors. The Dishwasher will also be responsible for recording the temperatures of the dish machine daily to ensure proper sanitation levels are maintained. Additionally, the role involves removing trash and inserting new trash bags, assisting with serving meals if staffing requires, and delivering meals to residents' rooms as needed. The Dishwasher must demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitality skills, showcasing trustworthiness and dependability. The ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision is crucial, as is the capacity to communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment. The Dishwasher is expected to present themselves in a professional manner, adhering to the company’s uniform standards, and to display integrity and professionalism by following Century Park's Code of Ethics and completing all required compliance training.
