Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including floors, walls, racks, and dish machine.
• Follow dishwashing procedures accurately.
• Deliver food timely and efficiently from the main kitchen to satellite kitchens.
• Adhere to all sanitation and food handling protocols.
• Follow safety policies and procedures of Encore Village and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information to protect residents' rights and employee confidentiality.
• Ensure proper personal appearance and hygiene according to established procedures.
• Attend and participate in in-service training programs.
• Report all hazardous conditions or equipment.
• Clean kitchen floor drains.
• Bus tables and pantry as needed.
• Assist in food preparation as directed.
• Understand sanitation, foodborne illnesses, and cross-contamination policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
• Good communication skills, including effective reading and speaking abilities.
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as assigned.
