Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health standards.
- Perform kitchen cleaning duties including dish washing area, floors, walls, and storage areas.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
- Ensure compliance with residents' rights and health regulations.
- Assist culinary team as needed in kitchen and serving areas.
- Meet and greet visitors in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Adhere to prescribed sanitation practices and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Ability to work responsibly as a team member and independently.
- Effective communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
- Must meet all health requirements and pass a criminal background check.
