About the position

The Dishwasher position at Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel is a vital role within the kitchen team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas. This position supports the overall efficiency of the kitchen by ensuring that all dishware, glassware, and silverware are cleaned and stored properly, contributing to the exceptional guest experiences that Crescent Hotels & Resorts is known for.

Responsibilities

• Clean, transport, and store all china, glassware, and silverware.
• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, back dock, and employee cafeteria.
• Wash dishware and sort and store all clean china, glass, and silver using proper procedures.
• Empty trashcans and wash the inside and outside.
• Thoroughly clean the dock area and dumpster.
• Break down the dish machine and clean inside and outside.
• Clean all breakdown tables and tile walls and baseboards.
• Set up and break down lunch in the employee cafeteria, maintaining the food area's cleanliness.

Requirements

• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Good communication skills with guests and co-workers.
• Willingness to help co-workers and be a team player.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
