About the position

As a Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. You will be expected to safely and correctly operate the dishwasher and other kitchen equipment, ensuring that all items are thoroughly cleaned and ready for use. Additionally, you will be responsible for emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas, contributing to a clean and organized work environment. In this position, you will also support the kitchen team by assisting with prep work, including the preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits and other tasks as needed. It is essential to work collaboratively with your team, always keeping the guests in mind with every decision made. Following all cleanliness and safety protocols is a must, as it ensures a safe and pleasant dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils
  • Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • Supporting the Cooks with prep work and preparation of signature Cheddar Bay biscuits
  • Focusing on team and guests, ensuring every decision considers their needs
  • Following all cleanliness and safety protocols

Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country
  • Culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
