About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized to support our culinary team and provide excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Ensure all items are properly sanitized and ready for use by the kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic food service duties such as bussing tables and helping with catering events.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of items during busy service periods.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support the culinary team during peak hours by helping with additional tasks as directed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a hospitality-focused environment.
• Willingness to assist with catering events or banquets when needed.
