About the position

As a Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our restaurant. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized. You will safely and correctly operate the dishwasher and other kitchen equipment, while also being responsible for emptying trash in the kitchen and other areas. In addition to these tasks, you will support the Cooks with prep work, including the preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and assist with other tasks as needed. Your focus will be on teamwork and guest satisfaction, ensuring that every decision made prioritizes the needs of both the guests and your fellow team members. You will also be expected to follow all cleanliness and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
• Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils
• Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
• Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
• Supporting the Cooks with prep work and preparation of signature Cheddar Bay biscuits
• Focusing on team and guest satisfaction
• Following all cleanliness and safety protocols

Requirements

• Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country you are applying
• Culinary experience preferred
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
• Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
• Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
