About the position
As a Dishwasher at Independence Village, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen by washing and unloading dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. This entry-level position requires a positive attitude and teamwork skills, contributing to a supportive environment for both staff and residents.
Responsibilities
- Wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment.
- Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items, complying with health and safety codes.
- Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
- Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties according to established policies and procedures.
- Scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and support a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
- Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
Requirements
- Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience preferred but not required.
- Good communication skills are required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
