About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team at River Hills Country Club. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen items, ensuring that dishes, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized. This role requires availability on specific days and supports the kitchen staff in various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine
• Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
• Empty trash containers regularly
• Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly washed, sanitized, and stored
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas including sweeping and mopping floors
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
• Support kitchen staff with various tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies

Requirements

• Driver's License
• Organizational skills
• Entry level kitchen experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Must be able to stand continuously throughout an 8 hour shift
• Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
• Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen supervisors
• Strong work ethic and a team player attitude
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required
