About the position
As a Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our restaurant. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, ensuring that all areas of the restaurant are kept clean and organized. You will safely and correctly operate the dishwasher and other kitchen equipment, and you will be responsible for emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas. In addition to your cleaning duties, you will support the kitchen team by assisting with prep work and the preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, among other tasks as needed. It is essential to focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction, as every decision made should prioritize the needs of both the guests and your fellow team members. You will also be expected to follow all cleanliness and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country you are applying
- Culinary experience preferred
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
- Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
