About the position
The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen environment. This position is responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring that all items are sanitized and ready for use. The Dishwasher will work closely with kitchen staff to support food preparation and maintain a clean workspace, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support cooks and kitchen staff.
- Bus tables and assist in the dining area to ensure a pleasant experience for guests.
- Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Help with catering events as required, ensuring all items are prepared and cleaned efficiently.
Requirements
- Culinary experience preferred but not required.
