The Dishwasher position at Atria Senior Living involves maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a high level of customer service, and supporting culinary operations. This role is essential for creating a pleasant dining atmosphere for residents and involves various cleaning and sanitation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, clean, sanitize, and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Clean floors, equipment, and other areas as assigned.
• Provide high-level customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment according to policy and procedures.
• Keep the dish room area neat, clean, and sanitary.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and empty trash.
• Assist with the preparation and execution of the Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs.
• Maintain the dish machine after each meal by cleaning and ensuring proper sanitizing temperatures and parts per million levels.
• Adhere to assigned cleaning schedules.
• Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Attend pre-meal stand-up in the kitchen prior to meal service.
• Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
