About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring that our culinary team can operate smoothly and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
• Ensure that all items are properly stored after cleaning to maintain an organized workspace.
• Support the culinary team during peak hours by providing timely assistance and maintaining a steady flow of clean dishes.
• Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation during service times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with banquet or catering operations is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food handling practices and culinary terminology is beneficial.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting are essential for success in this role.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
