The Dispatch Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the dispatch department across four ready mix plants in Wisconsin. This position is essential for ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality concrete products to a diverse range of clients. The Dispatch Manager will be responsible for managing a fleet of 50 mixer trucks, coordinating with plant operations, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of dispatch and logistics, and experience with Command Alkon or similar dispatching software. In this role, the Dispatch Manager will lead and manage the dispatch team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to ensure effective dispatch operations. The manager will implement and enforce policies and procedures related to dispatch operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Fleet management will be a key responsibility, involving the scheduling and routing of mixer trucks to maximize efficiency and minimize delays. The Dispatch Manager will also monitor vehicle maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all trucks are in optimal working condition. Operational coordination is another critical aspect of this role, as the Dispatch Manager will work closely with plant managers and production teams to align delivery schedules with plant output. Addressing and resolving delivery issues or customer complaints promptly will be essential to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Dispatch Manager will act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery scheduling and related concerns, ensuring clear communication and timely solutions to issues.
