About the position

The Roadrunner Dispatch and Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing on-site operations, managing a team of 10-15 regular employee drivers, and ensuring exceptional customer service in the wholesale automotive industry. This role involves scheduling pickups and deliveries, handling customer inquiries, and managing administrative tasks related to driver operations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign pickup and deliveries of vehicles
• Handle customer calls, invoices, drivers sign-in sheets, and payroll
• File accident reports if needed
• Provide outstanding customer service to auto auction and dealership customers
• Manage and inspire a team of employee drivers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the regional manager

Requirements

• Dispatch or transportation experience helpful
• Extensive knowledge of Murfreesboro/Nashville, TN and surrounding areas
• Good computer skills
• Successful background check and drug test
• Valid driver license and good driving record
• Minimum 20 years of age
• Auto Auction, Rental Car or similar experience helpful
