About the position
We are pleased to announce that we are seeking qualified applicants for a Dispatcher position on our Transportation Department team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team that supports the efforts of making success possible for all Redmond students. The Transportation Dispatcher provides direction to other employees regarding scheduling, assigning trips, student discipline, assigning substitute drivers and other administrative support. The employee must be capable of working responsibly with a minimum of supervision and under constant interruption. The dispatcher works closely with a team of office staff and under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction to other employees regarding scheduling and assigning trips.
- Manage student discipline.
- Assign substitute drivers.
- Offer administrative support.
