About the position

The Dispatcher role at an established HVAC and mechanical organization involves managing the daily schedules of service and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient operations. This position offers a stable job opportunity with potential for growth within the company, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Service and Maintenance Technicians' daily schedules to maximize results.
• Set the dispatch board and assign technicians for service calls.
• Ensure that all service calls are properly completed through the technician debrief process.
• Maintain the on-call schedule for service technicians.
• Maintain customer database with current information.
• Provide and report clear, concise communications with department managers, employees, and customers, including keeping customers appraised of the company schedule and requested lead times.
• Handle customer complaints and issues and come to a satisfactory resolution.
• Exceed customer's expectations for quality and value.
• Communicate with the Service Manager regularly and routinely to resolve questions, concerns, or issues.

Requirements

• 2 years of dispatcher experience
• Excellent communication skills
• TMS/Scheduling/CRM software experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
