About the position

We are seeking an experienced dispatcher to join our team in Bridgeport, OH. This full-time position involves the timely and accurate processing of customer payments, dispatching drivers, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and mathematical skills, ensuring accuracy in all transactions and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Processing and accurately recording transactions
• Maintaining detailed records of payments and account statuses
• Sending reminders regarding overdue payments
• Researching any account discrepancies and taking appropriate action for resolution
• Creating accurate and informative reports
• Collaborating with other departments to gather additional information, ensure accounts are up-to-date, and develop repayment plans
• Communicating with clients regarding the payments on their accounts
• Answering telephone with multiple lines
• Dispatching drivers using software applications
• Collecting payments and reconciling accounts

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar position
• Previous dispatching experience
• Knowledge of vehicles is a must
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Quickbooks
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Customer service skills are a must
• Minimum typing speed of 75 WPM
