About the position

The Dispatcher and Administrative Assistant at A-1 Locksmith & Security Center is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating field technicians' schedules, and ensuring effective communication with customers. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle administrative tasks while supporting bookkeeping functions and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch and coordinate field technicians' schedules.
  • Communicate with customers for scheduling and service updates.
  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, including answering phones and addressing customer inquiries.
  • Support bookkeeping by helping with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties.
  • Close out daily books and invoices, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date.
  • Follow up on work orders, service tickets, and customer communications promptly.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in dispatch, administrative assistance, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong follow-up mentality.
  • Experience with bookkeeping tasks, including AP/AR, is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
