About the position

Eagle Ambulance is seeking experienced dispatchers for its Communications team to support its growing medical transportation services in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. This role focuses on managing incoming requests, dispatching vehicles, and ensuring quality service while maintaining accurate records and communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accept incoming requests from customers via telephone and online portals
• Input accurate referral information to allow successful deployment of resources and reimbursement for services
• Operate and monitor two-way radio, MDT, GPS and paging systems in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Dispatch and monitor vehicles to ensure quality service and supportive guidance
• Document and maintain impeccable records/notes regarding various aspects of transports as outlined by company policy and procedures
• Monitor specialized telecommunications equipment in line with local public agencies
• Ensure requests for service are met in a timely manner by scheduling, dispatching and monitoring vehicles and traffic patterns
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and decrease turnaround times
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a motivational influence for your peers and co-workers

Requirements

• Prior ambulance/EMS dispatching experience
• Outstanding multi-tasking skills
