ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to join our team in Riverside, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for answering customer calls in a busy office environment, setting and scheduling technician appointments, and entering customer data into our computer systems. Responsibilities

  • Answer customer calls within a busy office
  • Set and schedule technician appointments for jobs
  • Enter customer data into the computer
  • Respond in a timely fashion to customer queries
  • Resolve and assist customers by taking incoming calls and making outbound calls regarding appointment scheduling for maintenance agreements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, or a combination of related experience and/or advanced training/education
  • One or more years of experience as a dispatcher
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong degree of self-motivation to provide exceptional customer service to customers by phone while directing technicians by radio and tracking devices
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple appointments
  • Demonstrated listening, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed set goals
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience gathering customer information and keying it into a computer
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of the local geographic territory
