About the position

The Dispensary Associate at Trulieve is responsible for guiding customers through their cannabis purchasing journey by providing education on product benefits and potential side effects. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients receive compassionate care and the right products to alleviate their medical conditions. The associate will work closely with management to enhance the customer experience and maintain compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
• Provide empathy and compassion to patients.
• Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
• Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures.
• Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
• Assist customers with any product or device issues.
• Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
• Perform additional team tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail and/or customer service is preferred.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV).
• Prior cash handling experience is required.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent people skills and effective communication in verbal and written form.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background record check.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects.
