About the position

The Part-Time Budtender at The Flowery is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a dispensary setting. This role involves assisting patients with their orders, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The Budtender will also educate patients about available products and promotions, while performing various operational tasks to support the dispensary's daily functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and prepping workstations.
• Create a patient-focused environment with excellent interactions.
• Check in, verify, and create new patient profiles upon entry.
• Communicate patients' available allotments and MMJ licensing status.
• Maintain confidentiality with patient information and interactions.
• Control the pace of patient traffic within the dispensary.
• Educate and assist patients in creating orders based on physician recommendations.
• Inform patients of current promotions and highlighted products.
• Create patient orders and accept payment at the POS system.
• Stay updated with company brands, products, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in occasional deliveries as scheduled.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and complete daily checklists.

Requirements

• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform tasks that require standing, squatting, kneeling, or bending.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
