About the position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and financial management of the dispensary. The primary goal is to maximize profitability through effective sales growth, customer retention, and team development, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of operational standards, including compliance with established company policies, procedures, and government regulations.
• Provide direct supervision and proactive management of the store team, including performance feedback, appraisals, and corrective actions.
• Build and sustain a high-performing team through employee selection, onboarding, coaching, and accountability for results.
• Monitor the performance of the store and its team by analyzing financial and operational reports regularly.
• Assist in establishing goal clarity for store employees and support them in achieving personal and company goals.
• Support inventory control using the State required Tracking System; perform all inventory management functions.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activities, including cash transactions, guest records, sales, deliveries, and returns.
• Create a culture of teamwork and growth by collaborating with the management team and providing direction and guidance.
• Ensure employees are knowledgeable of regulatory changes and provide consistent coaching across guest experience and product knowledge.
• Provide regular updates and solutions to corporate retail leadership regarding dispensary operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 5+ years' experience in a retail-based industry with a customer-centric approach.
• Demonstrated success in achieving company sales objectives and store goals.
• Results-driven with the ability to analyze reports and identify business opportunities.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
