About the position
The Dispensary Manager will oversee the operations of a new cannabis dispensary in Sunland Park, NM. Responsibilities
- Managing a team of people including scheduling, hiring, and conflict resolution
- Providing exceptional customer service to all patrons
- Assisting customers in selecting and purchasing cannabis products
- Educating customers on different strains, products, and consumption methods
- Maintaining knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations
- Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system for cash transactions
- Accurately handling cash and processing payments
- Maintaining inventory levels and restocking products as needed
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dispensary
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
