About The Position

The Full-time Security Guard at The Apothecarium will serve as a primary point of contact for patients entering the dispensary, ensuring the safety of the building, individuals, and vendors during each shift. This role is crucial in maintaining a secure environment while providing excellent customer service in a cannabis retail setting.

Requirements

• Must meet age requirements by state as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission.
• At least two (2) years of Law Enforcement, Security and/or Military experience required.
• Proficient with computers, POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams.
• Flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify state-issued identification and record contact in the visitor log.
• Complete security checks with the General Manager.
• Assist the Receptionist in monitoring and improving patient flow.
• Ensure the safety of the building, people, and vendors throughout each shift.
