About the position

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering patient care and supporting the management of pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring patient safety, adhering to regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service. You will lead and develop your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff while identifying business opportunities to enhance pharmacy performance and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practice standards.
• Oversee regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.
• Manage personnel, inventory, and financial profitability within the pharmacy.
• Implement patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
• Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to meaningful solutions for growth.
• Adapt to changes in a dynamic community healthcare setting and adjust plans accordingly.
• Foster a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
