Responsibilities

  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure personnel management within the pharmacy.
  • Manage inventory and financial profitability while implementing loss prevention strategies.
  • Lead patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
  • Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments to maximize strengths and address development opportunities.
  • Identify business opportunities and contribute to meaningful solutions for growth and performance improvement.
  • Adapt to changes in the community healthcare setting and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of caring, energy, and enthusiasm.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
