About The Position

The position involves performing daily clerical duties to support outbound shipments to customers at Teleflex Incorporated. The role requires effective communication with the Customer Service Department to prioritize orders and manage special shipping instructions. The employee will utilize RF technology and SAP proficiency to pick, audit, and pack customer orders, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficient in processing and making changes to customer orders in SAP.
• Proficient in using RF technology for processing customer orders.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Obtain customer orders via SAP and determine shipping methods based on packing instructions.
• Organize and prioritize orders for picking throughout the day.
• Disburse deliveries based on operational needs.
• Make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
• Review orders for special instructions and delivery priorities.
• Control the processing of etching orders and those requiring certificates before shipping.
• Ship parcel and LTL orders using UPS ConnectShip system.
• Confirm lines on customer orders and generate packing lists and freight bills using SAP.
• Make changes to customer transfer orders and deliveries in SAP as needed.
• Audit customer orders for accuracy and record picking errors.
• Correct picking errors with assistance from Shipping Leads.
• Navigate SAP reporting tools for daily statistics.
• Notify Shipping Leads and Inventory Control of inventory discrepancies.
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner.
• Pack customer orders securely and neatly based on shipping methods.
• Mark boxes and pallets with the customer's delivery number correctly.
• Attach mixed merchandise labels to boxes without breaking shrink wrap or double stacking labels.
• Communicate with employees when customer orders are ready for packing and shipping.
• Effectively communicate with Logistic Carriers and Freight Forwarders.
• Assist in training other associates as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
