Distribution Associate - Renton, WA

About the position

The Distribution Associate position at PACCAR in Renton, WA, is a full-time role focused on efficiently distributing truck parts globally. Associates will be trained in various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring that the distribution center operates smoothly and effectively. Responsibilities

• Verify delivery bills and product received during the receiving process.
• Recognize and address warehouse compliance issues such as overages, shortages, and damaged products.
• Assess quantity, size, weight, and volume to stock materials in appropriate warehouse locations.
• Process customer orders using warehouse order picking software.
• Pack items to ensure safe and undamaged delivery to customers.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including weight, piece count, and freight classification.
• Assist in training new employees in warehouse functions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Commitment to safety.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and rotate through all warehouse functions as needed.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to withstand heights up to 30 feet.
