About the position

The Distribution Associate at Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of plant management, focusing on service, production, inventory management, and sourcing. The role aims to meet business objectives safely and in an environmentally compliant manner while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective inventory oversight and distribution support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage inventory levels.
• Coordinate within the organization to source and manage inventory needed to support the customer base.
• Complete DOT shipping documents and ensure compliance.
• Support day-to-day distribution requirements.
• Provide support and coverage to the Distribution Supervisor to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the driving team.
• Maintain adequate inventory of production supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience in an industrial plant environment required.
• 2+ years managing and developing employees required.
• Experience working and/or managing in a union environment preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Warehouse experience: 3 years (Preferred)
