About the position

The Distribution Auditor is responsible for monitoring customer orders to ensure timely shipping, analyzing issues that prevent shipments, and coordinating distribution inventory procedures. This role requires strong analytical skills to reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate records within the Oracle system. The auditor will also provide training and support for Oracle users and participate in project teams to enhance inventory and shipping accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer orders to ensure timely shipping.
• Analyze and communicate issues preventing shipments to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate and analyze distribution inventory procedures and processes.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and research causes.
• Generate and govern prevention strategies for inventory issues.
• Assist in slotting new products and re-slotting existing products.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory records on Oracle.
• Research, analyze, and approve cycle counts out of tolerance.
• Participate in project teams to maintain inventory and shipping accuracy.
• Assign and update item attributes and pack file data.

Requirements

• Good writing skills for daily record completion.
• Good verbal skills for problem explanation and work assignment understanding.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs and Oracle system.
• Advanced math skills.
