About The Position

The Distribution Center Associate at Rexel USA is responsible for managing the flow of products within the distribution center, including receiving, checking, and packing materials for delivery. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers.
• Ability to resolve basic issues and problems.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with UPS shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Sign for deliveries and check in products.
• Put away received products in the appropriate locations.
• Pick materials for outgoing orders and pack them for delivery.
• Safely operate various types of material handling equipment.
• Verify the quantity and description of materials received against packing lists.
• Prepare receiving reports when necessary.
• Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers or branches.
• Load common carrier and company vehicles with outgoing shipments.
• Process UPS shipment paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer instructions.
• Pack orders into containers and arrange them according to delivery routes.
• Gather and verify assembled orders against invoices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the distribution center.
