About the position

The Distribution Center Team Associate II at Keurig Dr Pepper is responsible for applying knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes to enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture within a highly automated environment. This hands-on role involves monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and participating in continuous improvement efforts to ensure optimal operational efficiency in the distribution center.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class performance across the balanced Scorecard.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to 6S standards.
  • Perform behavioral safety observations and train employees on safety protocols.
  • Pick, transport, and load customer orders, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Safely operate powered industrial trucks for transporting and loading finished products.
  • Monitor daily schedules and interact with scheduling and operations teams for uninterrupted delivery.
  • Perform multiple activities within the business unit, including monitoring and adjusting warehousing tasks.
  • Lead and sustain a TPM-based production environment.
  • Support the site TPM journey and various implementations.
  • Perform standard work for Autonomous and Preventative maintenance activities on warehouse equipment.
  • Participate in Kaizen activities and assist in implementing improvements.
  • Partner with maintenance for executing preventative maintenance and improvement activities.
  • Provide support for plant and business unit board meetings, identifying trends and proposing action steps.
  • Work effectively with others, communicate status during shift transitions, and contribute to team efforts.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of warehouse operations and software systems.
  • Experience in a TPM-based environment.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience in monitoring and adjusting operational performance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Kaizen activities and continuous improvement processes.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
