About the position

The Warehouse Quality Supervisor at Ashley Furniture is responsible for optimizing warehouse processes, improving product quality, and reducing errors within the distribution center. This role involves close collaboration with distribution center leadership to identify areas for improvement, analyze data, and implement effective changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in operations. The position requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze processes and identify bottlenecks.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data on product performance and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement communication tools to share findings and recommendations.
  • Conduct audits of various warehouse processes, including product location, delivery truck preparation, and product handling.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs for warehouse personnel.
  • Recommend and implement changes to improve processes and reduce errors.
  • Travel among the Ashley Network facilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, Quality Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to promote teamwork.
  • Excellent understanding of blueprints and engineering specifications.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including data mining and data organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel among the Ashley Network facilities.
