About the position

Join Rexel USA as a Distribution Center Supervisor for the 2nd Shift in Solon, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all distribution center activities during your shift. This includes interviewing and training employees, planning and directing work, and leading inbound/outbound operations to meet safety, inventory, and productivity KPIs. You will have access to digital tools and customer integration services that will enhance your ability to find and retain customers, as well as provide the best products on the market due to our partnerships with top suppliers. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all distribution center activities on the assigned shift.
• Interview, train, and direct work for employees.
• Complete performance reviews and address employee issues.
• Supervise departmental functions to achieve high levels of accuracy and productivity.
• Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment and maintain security of the distribution center.
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and damage-free products.
• Coordinate receiving, shipping, picking, and packing activities.
• Establish work schedules and ensure jobs are completed properly.
• Complete necessary records and reports in a timely manner.
• Utilize Workforce Management System (WMS) metrics to increase productivity.
• Evaluate policies and procedures for efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of Warehouse or Distribution Center experience required.
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Certified to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Distribution Center Management Software (WMS) and AS400.
• Knowledge of Lean and Process Flow Layout in Distribution Centers.
