About the position

The Distribution Center Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Distribution Center (DC) by overseeing daily activities, managing team members, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position focuses on training, customer service, and promoting teamwork to meet company standards and customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
• Recognize and resolve customer issues or complaints by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.
• Manage daily activities of the distribution center, including oversight of team members and ensuring productivity goals and KPIs are met.
• Responsible for managing the DC P&L.
• Conduct and facilitate on-boarding of new employees including activities regarding 'Best Day Ever'.
• Effectively manage employee turnover.
• Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and coaching employees.
• Facilitate and coordinate compliance with required CBT courses associated with all DC personnel.
• Delegate tasks as needed and follow-up with employees to ensure that tasks are being completed.
• Prepare the weekly payroll submission and assure accurate information is being submitted.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory including meeting company shrink or loss goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years' experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years' experience supervising and training 15+ employees.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must have clean and consistent record of safety.
• Forklift Certification.
