Your job as a Distribution Clerk will be to prepare orders for efficient and accurate shipment, ensuring timely deliveries via UPS or other carriers. You will also be responsible for the precise receipt and storage of packaged goods and materials, playing a key role in our logistics team. This mission is brought to life by an 11,000-strong team, 13 best-in-class manufacturing sites, and 4 specialized science and innovation development centers. Monday - Thursday. Hours: 7:30pm - 6:00am.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize digital and electronic product codes to accurately pick and prepare orders.
  • Manage the receipt of inbound freight with precision and efficiency.
  • Load and unload freight into our company warehouses, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
  • Safely move materials within the warehouses, using hand jacks to handle heavy items and ensure their proper placement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to lift 10 to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for 8 to 10 hours per day.
  • Basic mathematics skills, computer literacy, and familiarity with electronic hand scanners, printers, and terminals.
  • Availability to cover first, second, and third shifts, with potential overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Must be based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and adhere to uniform and safety requirements.
  • Must pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
