About The Position

The Distribution Coordinator at Holcim US is responsible for managing call center software and reporting functions, ensuring efficient operations within the logistics and transportation sectors. This role involves process improvements, inventory management, customer service support, and training staff, all while adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Associate's degree
• 1-3 years experience within the customer service environment preferably in Manufacturing
• Proficiency with SAP, BW and MS Office
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrates leadership/ability to take ownership of tasks and make decisions
• Self-motivated and takes initiative
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental policies

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Transportation

Responsibilities

• Manages SAP process improvements (recommend and lead implementation)
• Assist with terminal inventory management, reconciliation, subcontracting
• Assist with customer service duties when required
• Assist with carrier account management
• Creation of purchase requisitions for transportation and logistics goods and services
• Good receipts and service entries of non-freight invoices
• ISO 14001 and 9001 Coordination
• Act as primary contact for NABS on customer billing issues
• Training of customer service staff
• Training of new, contract and seasonal staff (includes SAP)
• Other duties as assigned
