About the position

The Distribution Marketing Manager, Partner & Product Marketing at Allianz Life is responsible for supporting a new business venture aimed at providing Americans with access to lifetime income through their 401(k) plans. This role involves executing marketing strategies, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring effective communication and content delivery to both B2B and B2C audiences. The position requires a strong understanding of annuity marketing and distribution, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of partner and plan-level strategic plans including content development, campaigns, training, and communication plans.
  • Effectively track and document the location of content, its different versions, and expiration dates for enhanced organization and efficiency.
  • Stay informed about product changes and enhancements, maintaining a deep knowledge of the marketing library for prompt execution of necessary modifications.
  • Create product and campaign collateral from ideation, creative briefs, copywriting, and manage the review process to promotion.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Compliance, and Legal teams to develop approved content.
  • Partner with Digital teams to deliver content across microsites.
  • Work with partners to ensure approvals are granted on their end.
  • Support any firm approvals of marketing materials.
  • Ensure accurate analytics design, measurement, and reporting of results, applying a learning mindset.
  • Foster strong relationships with marketing partners and key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Build and reinforce the Allianz brand.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in annuity marketing and distribution.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and short timelines.
  • Curiosity about the customers and families served and a commitment to use insights to improve marketing content and journeys.
  • Flexibility and willingness to fill gaps as they emerge.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience with marketing and distribution-focused technology tools such as Marketo, Responsys, Seismic, and Salesforce.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and PowerBI.
